FAQ's

  • How much space do I need in my home to receive a massage?

You must have a space at least 2m x 3m to fit the massage couch and to have enough room for the therapist to work.

  • What do I have to provide?

You have to provide two large bath towels. Even a blanket is advisable during winter time as some clients can get cold.

  • What will the therapist provide?

The therapist will bring; massage couch, massage oil (unless you have your own you would prefer to use),

couch roll / cover , hand and feet sanitiser, antibacterial wipes, disposable bags for rubbish , own soap and hand towel.

  • Is there a sanitisation process before my treatment?

Yes. Before and after each treatment the therapist will first sanitise their hands before sanitising the massage couch and equipment with an antibacterial product.

  • Is there anything else I should know about my treatment?

The therapist will typically arrive 15 minutes before the treatment begins. This time is used for preparation ; setting up , sanitising , a brief chat about your requirements from the treatment, and also you will need to fill out a consultation form. At the end of your treatment the therapist will need a little time to give you aftercare advice and clean equipment.

None of this time will affect your treatment. For example if you book an hour treatment you will get an hour hands on massage.

  • How should I prepare myself for my massage?

You must keep your underwear on (or boxer shorts for males), although females receiving treatment on their backs would usually take off their bra so the therapist can work easier on that area. During the massage the client will be covered by towels and only have the body part that is being worked on exposed.
